Advanced legal concepts in the area of contracts, sales, negotiable instruments, secured transactions, and bankruptcy are covered. Specialized areas, including federal securities, and the accountant's legal liabilities, are also examined. Advanced business law concepts are provided for students interested in pursuing careers as stockbrokers, accountants, bankers, or in other professions requiring a knowledge of securities law and a higher level of understanding of the law in general. An excellent review for the law portion of the CPA exam. Pre: ACCT 3010 and LAW 3000.
