A course that affords students the opportunity to actively select and manage investment portfolios that have varying objectives. Techniques for evaluating stocks, bonds, and options are discussed and used in the selection of these portfolios. Students are challenged to understand and evaluate the complexities of a dynamic investment environment in which competition is keen and performance the goal. Pre: ECON 6000, FIN 6000, and MS 6010. Graduate standing.
