Students will study a variety of texts that use literary conventions such as figurative language, plotting, and characterization, while claiming to be nonfictional. Students will prepare a lengthy research project focusing on one or more selected texts, exploring current theories regarding concepts of "literature," "fiction," "nonfictio"reality," and "truth.
