Focus is on critiquing media messages in ways that reveal the distinctions and similarities between mediated and non-mediated messages. Various critical frameworks (e.g., rhetorical, feminist, Marxist) will be examined and applied to media messages. Pre: COM 3000 and WRI 1200.
