This course is the second semester of a two-semester laboratory sequence in biochemistry. It serves as the laboratory component of the associated lecture course CHEM 4032. The emphasis is on DNA related techniques such as the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and gel electrophoresis (DNA fingerprinting). Students also have the opportunity to carry out self-designed experiments and to report their results in a seminar format. Pre: CHEM 4031 and CHEM 4032
