Prerequisite: Admission to SW program, Psych 342 recommended This course studies the bio-psycho-social aspects of emotional maladjustments. The history of community mental health will be studied as well as various aspects of assessment, social causations, treatments and preventions of mental illness. Using the generalist social work method the role of the baccalaureate social worker in community and behavioral mental health is explored. (Fall, Winter, Spring)
