Fee: $80.00 This course will familiarize students with topics and skills related to safe travel and camping in winter wilderness environments. Course content includes: Awareness of injuries related to cold weather, clothing and equipment, avalanche awareness, Telemark skiing, basic snow and glacier travel, ice climbing, shelter and meal preparation. Students must be prepared to spend time in extreme winter conditions. (Fall, Winter, Spring)
