Prerequisite: Successful completion of Music 372A. Students meet in a seminar situation; that is, one meeting per week in which assignemnts are made and student work is presented to the class aurally and in writing. Faculty guided studies, i.e., the assignments and reports, are collected in a notebook the student retains as a reference source. Concentration is on fundamental and advanced concepts of woodwind playing and various approaches to teaching these concepts. Focus is kept on success in the private teaching studio.
