Prerequisite: Music 265A, Music 265B and Music 363A. Designed primarily for piano pedagogy majors, students enrolled in the course should have a performance competency level that will enable them to adequately participate both in performance and basic theoretical analysis of the music. The course is open to non-music majors with an interest in teaching in the home. Instruction emphasizes practical teaching experience in both private and group situations. Supervised practice teaching. Teaching of children in private lessons and/or group class instruction. Students will supervise second semester pedagogy students in Music 265B. (Winter)
