This course is part of the Business Management Integrated Emphasis. Students must apply to the program via the Business Management homepage. If they are accepted to the program, the department will register the student for the class. This course is part of the Business Management Integrated Financie Emphasis experience. The primary purpose of this course is for students to learn to apply personal fi nancial management tools to their own and their clients' lives. The content covers advanced time value of money, retirement planning strategies, tax-deferred retirement planning vehicles, asset allocation, specifi c investment products, insurance, estate planning, and fi nancial planning strategies. Students broaden their understanding and develop skills through problem solving using Excel, through case studies, and throug application to existing personal fi nancial management situations. (Fall, Winter, Spring)
