Fullfi lls GE Biological Science requirement. Travel Fee: $50.00 This is an introductory level ecology course. It includes fi eld identifi cation techniques, ecological relationships, and fi eld study methods. Field Biology is fi eld oriented. We strive to create an atmosphere of experiential education where students can learn by experiencing nature. The class integrates lecture and lab in a fi eld setting. Many local ecosystems are visited including cold deserts, coniferous forests, streams and rivers, and riparian areas. (Fall, Winter, Spring)
