Prerequisite: Completion of Bio 211 or Bio 208 and Bio 375 required. Basic Darwinian evolution and the history of evolutionary thought is presented. Includes the study of the scientifi c processes through which both microevolution and macroevolution occur, the history of life on earth, phylogenetics, cladistics, molecular evolution, sexual selection, population genetics, and rates of evolution.
