Fee: $10.00 Prerequisite: Bio 200 or Bio 208 The topics covered will include microbial diversity, the methods used to study microorganisms, microbial metabolism and genetics, the role of microorganism in causing disease, the immune response, the methods used to control microorganisms, and the use of microorganisms by man. The time in class will be spent in lecture and discussion, and evaluation will take place through a term paper, online quizzes, group assignments, exams, and lab reports, quizzes, and exams.
