3765. Europe from the Congress of Vienna to the Franco-Prussian War (1815-1871). Such movements as Nationalism, the impact of the Industrial Revolution, Marxism, the growth of Democracy, Liberalism and Conservatism, Romanticism and Realism, Reform and Revolution, from the main themes of the period. The course is divided into two historical periods, from 1815 to the Revolution of 1848, and from 1848 to 1871 with the emphasis on the unification of Italy and of Germany and the New Europe that arose as a consequence.
