Includes legal and ethical issues in nursing practice. Concepts related to the physical, emotional, and psychosocial self-care of the learner/professional. Includes cultural aspects of nursing care; basic gerontological nursing: the normal aging process; myths and realities regarding aging; attitudes toward care of elderly and exploration of death, loss and grieving as a part of living.
