Prerequisite: A "C" or better in MATH 1332, MATH 1314 or high schoolAlgebra II. This course is the first of a two-semester sequence which is a study of the basic laws and principles of physics and includes topics of mechanics, heat, vibrations, wave motion, and sound. Emphasis is on solutions to physics problems; a knowledge of Algebra, Geometry, and basic Trigonometry is essential.
