Prerequisite: Texas Success Initiative complete in Reading and Math. A course in physical science for non-science majors. The course examines the nature of scientific inquiry and how science and technology affect our lives. Students will have the opportunity to practice critical thinking skills and decisionmaking as they examine issues in science. Topics from: physics, chemistry, geology, astronomy, meteorology and life processes.
