2139-2140# Prerequisite: Written permission of the instructor. This course is available to both majors and non-majors who possess a desire to rehearse and perform outstanding jazz combo repertoire with musical understanding and artistic intent. Students will also focus on the nuances of playing in a small ensemble setting including listening, communicating, and improvisation. This course will also offer students a better understanding of jazz history and jazz theory.
