Prerequisite: A grade of "C" or better in one semester of college-levelchemistry, CHEM 1406 is recommended, plus Texas Success Initiative complete in Reading and Writing. Recommended: One semester of college-level biology. Structure and function study of the following: introduction of the human body, cells, tissues, integumentary system, skeletal system, muscle, and nervous system. Laboratory is coordinated with the lecture and includes the use of the microscope, fresh and preserved specimens, along with anatomical charts and models. Various electronic instruments are used to measure and record physiological data.
