Students in this course develop the evidence-based practice competence to plan, deliver, evaluate safe, ethical care appropriate to the individual needs of the parenting family. Emphasis is placed on continued development of ability to apply the nursing process. Prerequisites: NURS 113/113L, NURS 114/114L, NURS 115/115L, BIOL 251/251L, BIOL 252/252L, HSCI 103, HSCI 204, HSCI 307. Co-requisites: NURS 208/208L, NURS 210, BIOL 322, HSCI 308.
