NSCI 494 - Proposal Writing in Science

This course prepares a student to complete a research proposal in science and is used to satisfy the departmental requirement of all science majors. Students should register for this course in the fall semester of their junior year. NSCI 494 must be completed before a student will be allowed to take NSCI 495. This course is awarded 1 hour of credit. Students taking this course will consult with a faculty research mentor on the project prior to their proposal. This course along with NSCI 495, 496, and 497 represents the capstone learning experience for the sciences. Offered Fall semester.
