Topics include the English background and economic stimulus to colonization, the economics of the Jamestown experiment, mortality in the early colonies, the economics of white indentured servitude, opportunities for immigrants, the economics of the transatlantic slave trade, the growth of black slavery, and the wealth of the colonies.
