In this experiential course, students improve their use of creative writing techniques including: metaphor, characterization, and voice, while exploring innovations in form and the writing process. Emphasis will be placed on revision and fostering a productive workshop environment. Topics for this course might include: sense of place, songwriting, or specific genres such as poetry, drama, and the short story. This course may be repeated for credit if a student chooses a different topic. Credits: 3 Offered Semester I and II Prerequisite: EH 1113
