This course is designed to introduce students to outdoor programs that deal with people with psychological disabilities. Students will learn the characteristics of certain disabilities and will examine various therapeutic wilderness programs developed to work with specific groups, such as people who have been abused, who have post traumatic stress disorder, or who are patients in psychiatric hospitals.
