In Arboriculture students learn to cultivate woody plants, particularly trees, based on knowledge of their structure, function, and growth requirements. Students will prune, cable, transplant, and use other treatment and diagnostic techniques. Students will learn technical climbing techniques and will be given the opportunity to practice these techniques in large shade trees.
