Introduction to New York State Regents standards for teaching and learning science and technology in grades 7-12. Developing instructional strategies that enable learners to achieve the benchmarks of these standards; curriculum based assessment. Adaptation of instructional methods and materials, and enrichment for students with special learning needs and students from diverse cultural and language backgrounds. Fieldwork required. Prerequisites: EDSC 218, liberal arts science course and admission to the teacher education program.
