Development of major themes in the late 19th and 20th century philosophy such as pragmatism and the role of linguistic analysis. Prerequisite: Prerequisite: One philosophy course at 100 level or permission of instructor. The following three credit courses are not scheduled during this catalog period but may be offered if student demand is sufficient: PHIL 315 Bioethics; PHIL 308 Scholasticism; PHIL 401 Existentialism.
