This course is a "breadth-first" approach according to the guidelines of the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM).This course is primarily a programming course and topics include data abstraction and data structures such as stacks, queues, linked lists, hash tables and trees, methods of searching and sorting, sorting efficiency, and recursion. Prerequisite: CAIS 250 and MATH 201.
