Three hours lecture. Prerequisites: MATH 152. Introduction to the basic concepts of probability. A survey of the most common probability distributions. Introduction to the use of statistical techniques with particular application to physical and biological sciences. Students who have received credit for STAT 410:411 cannot also receive credit for STAT 301:302.
