Prerequisite: GEOG 250 Intermediate GIS concepts will be studied, including in-depth discussions of theoretical foundations, use of various extensions to basic GIS routines, data structures in GIS, use and customization of commercial data packages, data sources for GIS, and data and software compatibility issues in GIS.
