Description:
Prerequisites: EDUC 440 and 441, EDRD 416, EDET 445. Corequisite: EDUC 452. Will assist pre-service teachers in integrating their content, professional, and pedagogical knowledge and skills to devise learning experiences which are meaningful to secondary students in grades 9-12. Utilizing investigations, central concepts of their content area, inquiry, and knowledge of the reform movements, this course will allow students to practice skills and to explore the problems in planning learning activities, implementing lessons and teaching secondary science, mathematics, social sciences and English.
