Description:
Two hours lecture, two hours laboratory. Prerequisites: EDUC 309, admission to the teacher education program. ITEC 100 is recommended but nor required. Co-requisites: EDUC 440, EDUC 441 and EDRD 417. Designed to facilitate skills needed by educators to integrate technology into their professional practice. The use of electronic media to design, develop, implement, and evaluate effective instructional environments is addressed, as well as the different roles technology can play in managing the learning process and continually improving professional practice. Persons involved in teaching roles in PK-12 education, postsecondary education, administration, training and human resource development will benefi t signifi cantly from this course.
