Three hours seminar. Prerequisite: Senior status as an English major. The objective of this course is twofold: (1) to invite students of language, writing, and literature to participate in the theoretical debates surrounding the study of English; (2) to afford each student the opportunity to pursue a semester-long research project culminating in a senior essay which focuses on an interest the student has developed during prior course work.
