Offers the student fundamental skills with pinch, coil, slab, and other handbuilding processes and glazing techniques. Emphasis will be placed on development of a high degree of technical proficiency and a keen sense of form. Students will be exposed to contemporary and historical methods of the ceramic medium including firing techniques. Six studio hours per week are required.
