This course is an expansion of the introductory course. During the second year of instruction, practice in listening comprehension and speaking, already begun, is reinforced continuously as the student's proficiency increases. Continued improvement in reading, writing, and grammar skills, accompanied by broadened understanding of Spanish culture (both European and Latin American), will require greater concentration.
