Advanced techniques in pattern drafting will be explored through lecture/demonstrations, practice sessions and projects. Emphasis will be on developing proper fit, comfort and quality, and construction of the garment for specific designs. The student will develop a further understanding of the flat pattern concept and learn to refine their skills in design and construction problems. Professional-level patterns of sample designs will be made into finished garments. Required Prerequisite: FD 121 Flat Pattern Drafting 1
