Topics covered include regulation of gene expression during development, molecular biology of cancer, animal virology, eukaryotic gene organization, and methods in gene manipulation. Laboratory consists of research projects utilizing recombinant DNA/genetic engineering techniques. Includes 3 lab hrs. Prerequisites: BIO312; one additional biology course; CHE221; CHE222.
