3 s.h. The purpose of the course is to acquaint the serious psychology major with the trends and issues which have shaped the development of psychological thinking from ancient to modern times. The relationship of this development to issues in philosophy and the history of science will be considered along with an examination of current systems and theories in psychology. ( LA) Prerequisites: JrS, PSYC 100, PSYC 110 or STAT 101, and PSYC 220 all with a "C" or better.
