Physical Education 1-3 s.h. Designed to provide college level experience in any of the following: coaching, athletic administration, intramural/recreation administration, athletic training, and teaching physical education classes. The course is for students experienced in one of the above areas. Responsibilities, amount of credit, and grading criteria will be agreed to prior to the beginning of the course. The assistant will work closely with the instructor. A student may earn 1 to 3 s.h. of credit during a single assistantship depending upon specific responsibilities and demands. Students must be recommended by a department faculty member and have completed the appropriate course work required for the assistantship.
