3 s.h. The course trains instructor candidates to teach a number of water safety and swimming courses. Individuals meeting American Red Cross standards are qualified to teach ARC progressive swim course, infant, and preschool aquatics program, Longfellows educational programs as well as basic water safety and emergency water safety courses. Fee required. Prerequisites: 17 years of age, demonstrated swimmer level skills.
