3 s.h. A study of the components of fitness incorporating the principles and theories of anatomy, physiology of exercise, and human responses to movement. Students will be required to develop their own lifestyle fitness program integrating movement, nutrition, and behavior modification. The topics to be discussed are exercise, stress management, caloric expenditure, aging, life extension, relaxation, and aerobic effects on the human body. ( LA) Prerequisite: JrS.
