This course is designed to give prospective teachers (N-12) the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to understand the impact of diversity on today's schools, work effectively with diverse populations, integrate cultural diversity into the curriculum and use the understanding of diverse students to enhance learning. A field experience component is included. N-12 curriculum will be reviewed in this light. ( LA) Prerequisites: Open to Education majors only, SoS, EDUC 106.
