3 s.h. An advanced course exploring the concepts of non-linear video in an art context. Students will explore the creative aspects of digital video from concept and storyboards through final editing. Emphasis will be placed on students developing their own expression through the creation of a collection of short films using digital video techniques. The course will examine the historic, aesthetic and cultural considerations of film and contemporary video. Prerequisite: CART 201.
