3 s.h. This course is a further investigation into the dynamic field of Artists Books which builds on the skills and conceptual perspectives introduced in Artists Books I. Exploring complex traditional and innovative structures and investigating a variety of theoretical approaches students will continue to develop their conceptual and technical proficiency as they produce sculptural book objects of exhibition and portfolio quality. While this is primarily a studio experience, slides and discussions of this new artistic field will be a complimentary component of the course. Offered once in an academic year. ( LA) Prerequisite: ARTS 280.
