Characteristics of children with special needs (i.e., disabilities, giftedness) in each of the following areas of development: biological, cognitive, language, perceptual, and social-emotional and the implications of those characteristics for educational intervention. Fieldwork required. Prerequisite ED 206 or ED 208.
