Prereq: OTA program admission or perm of program director. Use of activities for therapeutic situations, with exploration of the conditions that are commonly referred to occupational therapy and how purposeful activity can be used. Therapeutic media are introduced and craft activities and basic craft skills taught; these are consistently related to use of activity in increasing the quality of life, including activities of daily living, work, and play or leisure. 1 hr lecture, 2 hrs lab.
