Covers various physical agents used in physical therapy to facilitate healing, pain control, and patient comfort, with emphasis on applied anatomy and function. Covers thermal, electrical, and manual modalities that are commonly used in physical therapy practice. Includes presentation of a wide variety of clinical scenarios and pathologies to facilitate students' ability to appropriately select and competently apply each modality.
