Prereq: 104. Builds on theory and skills learned in 104 for mastery of advanced phlebotomy skills. The externship portion of the course consists of 100 hours of work with a certified phlebotomist at an approved facility arranged by the program coordinator. The externship must include completion of at least 50 successful venipunctures and 25 successful capillary sticks.
