Provides firefighters with an understanding of current challenges, techniques, and equipment available for the safe and effective extrication of victims trapped in land-based vehicles of all types. Focuses on scene management and incident command as well as extrication equipment and its use. Includes passenger vehicles, buses, medium and heavy trucks, rail cars, and industrial and agricultural vehicles. Adheres to IFSTA guidelines.
