Study of exposure to chemicals in the environment and the mechanisms by which they interact with plants, animals, air, water, and humans. Recognition of toxic properties of chemicals; emphasis on chemicals that are essential to life. Includes detailed procedures on how to recognize hazardous materials, as well as study of safe storage, transfer, and transport of hazardous chemicals. Sp even; ISP, ISW.
